Patience

Hurricane Katrina made landfall in New Orleans in August 2005.  The winds and subsequent flooding caused widespread damage.  Twelve years later, some homes have been repaired, some homes are in the process of being repaired, and some homes will never be repaired.  This week, my work group worked with St. Bernard Project to restore a home for Ms. Delores.  Two times this week, she visited the home while we were working.  She is quiet and reserved.  I wonder what she thinks when she looks around the house.  It has been a long process.  The finish line is now in sight.  St. Bernard Project hopes she can move back home by the end of September.  She has been very patient.  Hopefully, that patience will soon be rewarded.

What God leads us to,
God will lead us through.
